Introduction.

As a busy Jersey-based business, SunWorks came to us when looking for someone to manage their IT. This included the monitoring of their network and systems, managing software updates, procuring and maintaining their hardware.

The Challenge.

As a busy local business, SunWorks had a fragmented system in place, with multiple providers handling different areas of their IT and no proper support in place.

In addition, multiple staff members needed to easily share and access the latest data and information.

With an existing IT security provider we would also have to ensure they had uninterrupted cyber security protection during their transition and take over their hardware procurement.

The Solution.

Once we understood what their business did and the needs of their current IT framework to serve this, recommendations were made and agreed on. We then began by moving SunWorks onto Office 365 from their existing cloud-based storage solution. As part of this move we migrated all of their data, ensuring that nothing was lost and that all staff had uninterrupted access to all of the files they needed while the migration took place.

We then reviewed the security they had in place to ensure that it gave them the necessary protection against threats and ensured it would provide adequate protection for their business and files.

Once we were happy we took over their cyber security and also handled the ongoing security management, performing tasks such as running updates and deploying patches so that the business owners would no longer have to do this.

Benefits.

SunWorks have ongoing support from SystemLabs as part of their IT support package and can easily raise support tickets using our system. This feature also allows them to check in on the progress of their request.

A major benefit for SunWorks has been knowing that as a locally based provider, we are never far away and can easily attend their office to fix any issues with hardware. Having one point of contact and working with a local provider reduces wait and response times.

In addition, our monitoring of their IT setup means we proactively manage their servers and systems, and are alerted to any potential issues which we are able to deal with before they impact the running of Sunworks’ business.
